Wellness girlies, get ready because Erewhon has a new smoothie collab, and this time, it’s with none other than Nara Smith. If you’ve seen her viral cooking videos, you already know that Nara has a knack for making everything from scratch—so naturally, her Erewhon smoothie, called Wellness from Scratch, is packed with thoughtfully chosen ingredients that go beyond just tasting good.

But let’s address the obvious: It’s $23. Yep, you read that right. So the real question is—what’s in it, what’s the hype, and is it actually worth it? Let’s dive in.

What’s in Nara Smith’s Wellness from Scratch Smoothie?

Erewhon’s celebrity smoothies are known for their chef’s kiss blends of trendy superfoods and premium ingredients. Nara’s smoothie is no exception, featuring a tropical mix of probiotics, collagen, and a few lesser-known wellness boosters.

Here’s what’s inside:

  • Pineapple, Mango & Banana – A tropical fruit base that brings the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess.

  • Orange Juice & Lemon Juice – A citrusy zing packed with vitamin C.

  • Grass-Fed Kefir – A probiotic powerhouse that supports gut health (more on that later!).

  • Almond Milk & Coconut Cream – A dairy-free combo for that ultra-smooth texture.

  • Sea Moss & Turmeric Juice – Because anti-inflammatory and mineral-rich ingredients are basically Erewhon’s love language.

  • Collagen & Camu Camu – One for your skin, one for your immune system.

  • Honey & Mint – A little natural sweetness with a fresh finish.

Basically, it’s giving tropical vacation in a cup with benefits.

My Honest Thoughts: How Does It Taste?

Okay, I won’t lie—I was excited to try this one. I love a good probiotic smoothie, and the combination of kefir, citrus, and tropical fruits sounded like my kind of vibe.

The first sip is a full-on tropical explosion. The orange juice hits first, giving it a bold citrusy punch, followed by the sweetness of mango and pineapple. It’s tangy, refreshing, and has that thick, creamy consistency you want in a good smoothie. The banana helps smooth it all out, but surprisingly, it doesn’t overpower the flavor like it sometimes does in smoothies.

The vanilla collagen adds a slight sweetness and depth, while the coconut cream makes it extra velvety. The mint gives it a cool, fresh aftertaste, which is a nice touch. But if you’re not a fan of tart flavors, this might be a bit too much for you. The citrus elements are dominant, making it taste more like a tropical juice than a classic creamy smoothie.

Now, my biggest hesitation came from the kefir. Growing up in an Indian household with Ayurvedic principles, I was always told to avoid mixing dairy with citrus because it can be harsh on digestion. Kefir is amazing for gut health, but when combined with acidic ingredients like lemon and orange juice, it can potentially disrupt the good bacteria. While I didn’t experience any immediate stomach issues, it did make me question whether this is the best way to consume probiotics. If you have a sensitive stomach, you might want to take this into consideration.

How to Make It at Home

If you don’t live near an Erewhon (or don’t want to drop $23 on a single drink), you can easily recreate this smoothie at home. Here’s how:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup organic pineapple chunks

  • 1/2 cup organic mango chunks

  • 1/2 cup organic orange juice

  • 1/2 cup Lifeway Grass-Fed Organic Plain Kefir

  • 1/2 cup MALK Organic Almond Milk

  • 1/2 banana

  • 1 tbsp Copina Co. Citrus Blossom Sea Moss Refresher Drink

  • 1 tbsp Nature Nate’s Organic Honey

  • 1 tbsp grass-fed vanilla collagen

  • 1 tbsp organic coconut cream

  • 1 tsp organic turmeric juice

  • 1/2 tsp camu camu powder

  • A few fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth.

  2. Smear a little coconut cream on the inside of your glass for that Erewhon aesthetic.

  3. Pour the smoothie into your cup and top with extra coconut cream and fresh mint. Enjoy!

The Big Question: Is It Worth the Hype?

Let’s be real—$23 is a lot for a smoothie. You’re paying for the premium ingredients, the Erewhon experience, and, of course, the influencer collab factor.

Taste? Delicious.

Ingredients? Impressive.

Price? Painful.

If you’re someone who loves trying new wellness drinks, appreciates high-quality ingredients, and doesn’t mind splurging once in a while, I’d say go for it. It’s refreshing, packed with functional benefits, and honestly, a fun little treat. But if you’re just looking for a good smoothie, you could recreate a similar version at home for a fraction of the price.

I’m glad I tried it, and if you love tropical flavors with a probiotic boost, you’d probably enjoy it too. Will I be making it part of my regular routine? Probably not. But if I ever feel like treating myself at Erewhon, I wouldn’t mind sipping on this again.

What do you think—would you try it?
